Opium Garden

Mac’s Club Deuce
Mac’s is fondly known as South Beach’s premier dive bar. Barflies, trendy types, and drag queens mix and mingle at this simple nightspot, where rock and roll on the jukebox provides the only entertainment — other than people-watching, which is endlessly entertaining here. Casual wear is recommended, but people show up in all manner of attire, from cutoffs to cocktail dresses. Another claim to fame at Mac’s is the cheapest beer in South Beach, served to you with no frills in a basic plastic cup. The consummate seediness of the bar has made it a favorite with those from all walks of life. Smoking permitted at the bar.
The Playwright Irish Pub
One of Miami’s few true Irish pubs, the Playwright is tucked away on Washington Avenue, right in the middle of the trendy SoBe night scene. The decor takes a page from the “all things Irish” catalogue, featuring a mahogany bar imported from the Emerald Isle; cherry mahogany tables and chairs; photos of Joyce, Yeats, Shaw, Wilde, and other great Irish penmen; and an 18th century pulpit and two spectacular stained glass windows reclaimed from an old church. Of course, Guinness freely flows, and the hospitable bartenders can mix together just about any poison you desire.
Cameo
The legendary Cameo on South Beach is reborn. The infamous night club is back with a new attitude and a totally new look. Taking inspiration from “the dark and dirty side” of the disco era, Cameo brings a comforting feel to the club goer, while at the same time having plenty of surprises to keep things fresh and exciting. Spearheading the revitalization of Washington Avenue, Cameo is a symbol of this rebirth on Miami Beach.
Nikki Beach
In every sense, Nikki is a beach club, from its tiki bars and cabanas to its Survivor-meets-Fantasy Island decor. Awesome DJs spin top tunes constantly, and great global food makes for terrific nibbling. Plus, a never-ending parade of SoBe’s famously beautiful models, society pagers and jetsetters ensures that standard goings-on never get stale. The campy vibe is irresistible, and excellent disco, lounge and dance music are certain to put you in a party mood.
Flavour
An alternative to the suave clubs prevalent to the Grove, this happening spot attracts students and twenty-somethings who pack the floor elbow to elbow, jamming to 80s hard rock. The sleek interior only enhances the atmosphere; hardwood floors, red walls, pendant lights and understated geometric designs adorn the two-story space. A variety of DJs, a jukebox, billiards and an energetic clientele keep the scene from ever growing stale.
