Privelege
Privilege Ibiza is the “world’s largest nightclub” according to the Guinness Book of Records, with a capacity of 10,000 people. It is located not far from San Rafael, Ibiza, less than a kilometer from the nightclub Amnesia. For fourteen years, Privilege hosted Manumission, one of the island’s most famous events. After a dispute between the club owner and Manumission’s organizers, the event moved to Amnesia.
Amnesia
From 2006 til date, Amnesia has been awarded for 3 consecutive years the prestigious BEST GLOBAL CLUB award in the Winter Music Conference which is held every year in Miami during the last week of March.
In 2009 Amnesia installed a system of 24 color lasers with the latest technology controllable like a robot. 23 lasers are 1 Watt RGB and there is one high power RGBY Matrix. The combination results in a spectacle unimaginable.
Currently Amnesia is about to begin to open franchises in four key destinations, these franchises must meet strict requirements to guarantee to be as similar as possible to the original club of Ibiza.
DC10
DC-10 is located in an former airport hangar just a stone’s throw from the runway of Ibiza Airport. It’s a covered terrace with a sideroom that squeezes in 1500 clubbers, but you don’t come for the decor – the club is most famous for its wild all-day Monday Circoloco parties. Expect secret guests, underground techno and the wildest atmosphere on the island.
Pacha
Pacha became famous throughout the world as a haven for glamorous hippies and indeed Ricardo’s brother Piti’s Flower Power production still wows them on occasional Sundays.
When the electronic music revolution hit, house music took over – in many different guises – but always top quality DJs and sounds.
If you like Spanish pop you can find that too – just hang a left into Pacha after you enter through the front door. Then there’s the El Cielo or the Funky Room, where jazzy house, soul, and funk predominate.
Space
Space is a nightclub on Ibiza. It was awarded Best Global Club at the International Dance Music Awards in 2005 and again in 2006. Events begin in the afternoon and usually don’t end until well into the morning the next day. Space is located in Playa d’en Bossa on the outskirts of Ibiza Town, close by the airport.
Eden
Eden Ibiza was born in 1999, rising from the ashes of former San Antonio Club Kaos. Under new management, and after the entire building got re-built, the club quickly began to get noticed as a serious Ibiza Player.
Eden Ibiza Night Club has a huge capacity, two floors, 13 bars, two VIP areas, a funky room and a separate chill out room, the White Room, it is no wonder that Eden attracts the finest clubbing nights and promoters on the island &including Judgement Sundays, Dave Pearce, Dusted, Garlands, Retro, MTV, Ministry of Sound, Gatecrasher, Slinky, Godskitchen, Clockwork Orange, Sundissential and many more.
El Divino
Preserving the exclusive nature of the club, El Divino is the only nightclub in Ibiza with a seated terrace. The perfect spot to admire the breathtaking views which overlook the marina and the old town, which, when illuminated, becomes almost magical. Enjoy table service in the VIP or choose to take a drink from one of the bars. The glamorous surroundings will ensure a truly unique experience for all.
Es Paradis
Es Paradis was first opened in August 1975 by the owner Pepe Aguirre together with the artist Lluís Güell, who is also the creator of Café del Mar. It quickly became a referent point of the ibicencan night.
The original and spectacular decoration, predominantly white (very common in Ibiza) and the enormous natural gardens, makes Es Paradis a unique place, recognised as the most beautiful club in the Mediterranean, or as described by international press, “Breath takingly Beautiful”.
Blu
The most well known events here are the Mini-Cocoon nights, called Nano, allegedely after Sven Vath himself played an afterhour and liked it so much he wanted to set up permanent gigs here. Those events ran through the Winter of 07/08 and then continued every Wednesday in summer 2008 with guests of the calibre of Tobi Neumann, Loco Dice and Sven again dropping in unannounced at least once. Monza have already held a pre-season opener here in 2009.
Definitely off the beaten track and almost totally out of the consciousness of the majority of the clubbing masses who come to Ibiza, those are the exact reasons why having a top buzz at Blu has an added sense of excitement. Catch it before Mixmag gets its dirty hands on it but make sure there is actually something happening there first.
Bora Bora
Cool vibes, cool people and music so chilled its positively icy! Bora Bora is THE place to be for daytime action when the temperature gets high! Right on the beach, just in front of the famous Jet Apartment complex, Bora Bora is probably the coolest beach scene in the world…and it costs nothing to get in!
